Apprenticeships in North Yorkshire
The learning provider network for
North Yorkshire is Providers in Partnership, (PiP), - a Limited Company
established and registered in 2005. The Company was formed by a collaborative
arrangement of Work-Based-Learning Providers in York and North Yorkshire
with the support of the LSC, North Yorkshire.
PiP is a membership based organisation acting as the representative body for WBL Providers with all other key decision makers. It supports the strategic planning process of the LSC, North Yorkshire and other key stakeholders and partnerships in York and North Yorkshire, by offering a collective body from existing local learning provider networks with a commitment to work as a partner in vocational learning. In doing so developing the economic and social environment of the sub-region.
There are currently 20 PiP members, including six colleges of further education. The occupational sectors delivered by members include such subjects as Engineering, Business Administration, Hair & Beauty and Childcare, across all locations within York & North Yorkshire at level 2 and 3. Some provider members also offer Entry to Employment and Train to Gain.
Further details of the consortium can be found at www.providersinpartnership.org.uk, alternatively email admin@providersinpartnership.org.uk or telephone 01904 557601 for further information.
